Cullross Living is a dedicated build-to-rent platform which launched in 2025, beginning with the Newcraighall East development in Edinburgh. 

The team is now progressing work on its second site, Western Harbour. 

Located at Western Harbour, Edinburgh on the land bounded by Western Harbour Way, Western Harbour Terrace and Western Harbour Drive, the team are in the early stages of developing their Planning Application.

We will be holding two community consultation events in January and February 2026 to help shape the design proposal ahead of our formal planning application in May/June 2026.

The plans will include a mix of affordable and private rental units, and, as with our Newcraighall development, we are seeking to include a variety of unit types.

The site fits well with our strategy to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient homes for rent in locations which are well served by local amenities and easily accessible by public transport.

We recognise the importance and significance of the project to both the neighbours and the wider Edinburgh city community and we aim to demonstrate how our designs have been developed to be sympathetic to the neighbourhood.

Our approach is open.  We invite comments and seek feedback from all those interested in this major project. 

We will seek to reach and communicate with as wide an audience as possible through two public events, as well as hosting an event website highlighting the design proposals.

The public events will provide interested parties with an opportunity to engage with the designers, learn more about the proposals, ask questions, and provide comments and feedback.

The initial public event will be held on 29th January, with a second follow-up public event held on 18th February 2026.

Both events will take place between 2pm and 6pm and will be held in Heart of Newhaven, which is approximately half a mile (a 10-minute walk) from the proposed site.
